CAMP HWANGE & Muddy Teak

Part of Wild Expeditions Africa, Camp Hwange and Muddy Teak are two traditional bush camps (of 8 and 4 tents respectively) that peak out from under teak forests and overlook two of the natural waterholes that make this part of Hwange National Park special.

Founded in 2010, the location of the Camp Hwange concession is ideal. This private area in the central part of Hwange lies between the rugged mopane woodlands and their kopjes to the north, and the sandy soil teak forests to the south-west; its location here on the open savannah means that the game viewing is as diverse as the habitat types.
